I'm driving down the road yesterday and accidentally hit the "Mute" button twice in rapid succession when suddenly the backup camera comes on. Uh-oh, was my first thought... But then later in the day remembering it was Easter - wondered... maybe this is an Easter egg previously unknown to me. Sure enough, double-tapping the Mute button brings up the backup camera. Anyone else?

I thought that was a feature enabled by a tazer. Do you have one by chance?

Yes... brand new to it last week so am learning my way around. Don't remember enabling that feature though... perhaps it's just something that happens when it's connected. Either way it's kinda cool - as long as not indicative of a problem ;-).

I don't have a Tazer myself but I remember reading about it, and trying it hoping that it would work without one. : )

It’s a Tazer feature not a bug. If you’ve got the 8.4” screen you can also configure it with a touch button along the bottom of the screen to do the same.

It's a "live function" that is always available. There's nothing to turn on or off.

Take a look at the Tazer user guide here:

Thanks David. I'm getting used to the idea of this tiny, plastic box having so much power to control my Jeep, and am def. easing into things slowly. For the moment I've decided to leave it attached (don't see any real reason to remove and stick in the glove box), so am exploring the 'Live' features one by one. I'll admit - I was initially opposed to the Tazer (irrational fear of the unknown), but the more I learn the more value it appears to have. Late to the party, but pretty pleased none the less.

Has anyone mapped a button for the front camera and if so what’s the time out and or speed time out? I like using the front cam to park and it cuts off after like 10 seconds tazer said to map a button for it. Not sure how it would work
