Just took delivery of my JLUR yesterday, and today realized that my doors wont lock via the key fob or the buttons on the door, only manually on rocker or with the key in the keyhole.

It will be a few days before I can make an appointment to let it sit at the shop, but wanted to throw it up on here and see if anyone else had experienced it and if there might be an easy fix, like a fuse, or something.

Well since both of those scenarios involved the power locks, I’d check that fuse.

Can you roll the windows up and down? The electrical connectors may be loose.

yes, check the fuse and relay, then check the door electrical connections. Either way this is a Warranty issue.

Certainly on my list to check... oddly enough, the tailgate locks and unlocks fine. It's that in its own power locks fuse?

Windows and power mirrors both work.

Not sure about that. Might have to check the users guide or owners manual.

Its more likely the connections to the doors themselves then.

Wow. You'd think the dealer would've noticed while they were preparing your vehicle.

Not the fuse, gonna check the wiring harness on each door but with windows working and tailgate locking, I doubt it's that. Looks like I'll be taking it back to the dealership...

Not sure if you figured it out or not but I found that one of my key fobs only unlocks by pressing lock. The other works fine. I thought it was the Jeep but I need to take the key fob in for replacement or repair.

In other words, I thought the Jeep wouldn’t lock, but it was because my key fob either has a low battery or doesn’t work correctly. Try your other fob.

It was actually the door latch mechanism. It wasn't recognizing the door as closed, so it wouldn't lock.

Got it back yesterday fixed, but now the left rear light is out

Maybe one of the doors isn't close all the way...
