Doors, front quarter, tailgate construction materials (They are Not Steel)

Is the hood, doors, tailgate and front quarter panels aluminum? I ask because when I purchased my Sahara the factory paint on the hood was in really bad condition, the dealer repainted it and did a crappy job so I purchased a MAGNETIC paint thickness tester to see just how bad it was. It only worked on the rear quarter panels and Hing Bolts, the doors, Hood, front quarter, and tailgate had no magnetic value. The tester works fine as I tested on other steel painted objects with no problem. Are thee parts Aluminum?

Hood and doors are aluminum, i believe the tailgate is magnesium (or some alloy)

The only steel is the rear quarter panels and the floor pans/rockers. The hood, front fenders, doors, windshield frame, tailgate, etc. are all aluminum and/or magnesium.
