Doorless mirror mod

Bought a pair of circle adjustable stick on mirrors from local auto parts store for $4.99 coulpled with some 1.25” magnets and some circle cell phone metal plates for magnetic cell holders.

Now have removable ( magnetic) Mirrors for when I roll naked.

Bonus- works as cell phone mount as well.

Ok, Wes .. you get an A+ on this idea...

Cool... as my Son's would say.

I will try this, but will use the clear fasteners you get with an EzPass to secure the mirror. I will use one or two fasteners for each mirror.

The fastener(s) on the movable vent will not be particularly visible when the vent is in the open position.

The EzPass fasteners come off easy and leave no residue/damage so I can easily and without worry of damage remove them in the Fall/Winter.

EzPass provides the fasteners for free.... 8-)

I debated wether to use the magnet on the mirror or the vent. Would be a cleaner look on the mirror. This is the metal plate I used which would blend well with the vent.

You could just double sided tape the mirrors to the air vent mounts!

the mirrors come with adhesive. the ones i got are adjustable are their own and dont require to turn the vent. so they are a little taller than the others and wouldnt fit inside the vent. can use the tape for the regular ones and the vent will move.

Some states require the mirror to be on the outside of the vehicle. Check your laws.

From what I'm reading, NY law doesn't specify interior/exterior, just says needs a drivers and rearview. If tinted, needs passenger as well. Guess I'll give a call to the local police here!

It's a cool mod. but with traffic and 90 degree days (the one's I like doors off) I need my AC on too.....
