Baja Mexico

I spent some time in Belize. Our friends took us across to Mexico for a day. We went to Chetumal. It was just beautiful.

We don't see much of the beautiful parts of Mexico in the press. We only see and hear about drugs and violence. There is much more to Mexico than that.

So what you're saying is we should all trade in our Jeep for a Buick? I wonder how a Buick looks with a lift kit and 37's?

Not at all. I used to think that maybe it was just me who had bad luck at Jeep dealerships. These surveys, Google reviews, etc verify that my experience is typical, not the exception to the rule. Also, better odds that an extended warranty is a good idea if the quality is low (Jeep is near the bottom) vs a higher quality brand. Yes, everyone’s experience with vehicle problems is different, but data helps with the buy or not buy mfg extended warranty decision.

There are many places I wouldn't go in Mexico, just like I wouldn't go to south Chicago. BCS is a very safe, beautiful people, food, and environment.

Just heard from Jeep Mexico that Jeep US are sending a new unit to be installed here! Probably helped that my wife who is a US lawyer talked to them a week ago about clauses in our warranty contract.

Finally, close to 7 months, but want to see it first!
