Fumoto's website doesn't have anything (Jeep) newer than 2017, but they're all M14 1.5... fit won't be an issue.

Choosing the F106N, F106S, F106SX, etc. mostly depends on whether or not you intend to drain with a hose. Ground clearance shouldn't be an issue unless you're a serious off-roader & go skidding & scraping along rocks.

The F106 is good enough for me. No fancy letters afterwards or adapter needed.

I have the Artec aluminum skids and went with the Fumoto drain valve. I chose to go with the F106S model so I could have good clearance, but still be able to attach a tube and be absolutely sure I could control where the oil was going to go. Here are some pictures for reference for anyone trying to figure this combination out...

I was worried about which direction the valve assembly would face once installed, but was very pleased when proper torque landed it just about perfectly aligned with the drain hole! This places it further up out of harm's way, and provides room for me to get my fat hands up in the drain hole to manipulate the lever.

Tucks up in there pretty nice. A little less than an inch above the surface of the skid.

Buy the tube adapter and cut some 3/8" tubing to whatever length works for you.

Then drain away, mess free!

And if you're still worried about breaking it off, I consider myself to fall into this category...

...yet after a run through the Rubicon and a majority of the most difficult trails in Moab, my oil pan skid looks like this.

You'd have to land perfectly on a very small and/or pointy pinnacle rock in order to even contact the drain valve. Something you're very unlikely to encounter in the center of even the rockiest trail. Now if your idea of wheeling consists only of smashing your way back and forth across man-made rock gardens, then maybe I'd think twice about installing this drain valve. Otherwise, I really see no likely potential for issues of any sort. Go for it!
