I am having my Premium soft top fabric replaced under warranty.. The dealer has stored the fabric over the winter.

As winter turns to spring (slowly) I'm trying to plan switching out the hard top for the soft top and coordinating with the service department to replace the fabric.

When I asked the service adviser if frame needs to be on the Jeep to switch the fabric or if I could just drop off my existing top they didn't know the answer.

So I ask the experts...... Does the frame need to be on the Jeep to replace soft top fabric?

Thaks for the help

I would imagine not, they don't put it on a Jeep in the factory to put the fabric on. I'd say it's the dealer's problem, they could put it on a different Jeep temporarily if needed. Anyway, this probably doesn't actually help...
