Does Soft Top Back Window Roll Up in JL?

No, that’s a different set of straps. The ones discussed in this thread have snaps on them. They probably don’t ship them anymore... this is a very old thread.

I just put my new soft top on a 2021 JLUR and it came with both straps (Velcro and button). I also just rolled up my back window. Haven’t unrolled it yet - but will report back if any damage.

Just an FYI- I ordered a brand new soft top from the factory (JL- 2 door) in August 2021, and it came with the "Snap-straps" as well as the velcro's...

There are 2 sets of straps that come with the JL soft top:
One set has button snap on the end and it is to hold the rear window in the rolled up position.
The other set have Velcro and is used to hold the top either folded down or in the sun rider position.
Mine is a 2021 and it came with both sets.

Same here. I got my Premium Soft Top in October of 2021 and it had both sets of straps.

I have a 2024 soft top... same snap straps and velcro straps....I bagged the windows in April. Maybe I'll pull them out of the bag early October just before I put my doors back on.
