Hi Charlie @kingpinJL , My buddy Randy has them on his JK. You can see his rig in the video that I linked above. Most people usually use the newer style Pro6 Bar like what I have on my Jeep. You can see it in the picture above. Let me know if you have any questions, I can get you in touch with Randy also if you want to talk to him about his XCross Bar. We also have a KC tread on the forums if you want to check it out.

I don't have the KC X

cross bar, I went with Road Armor, but I have similar to your question.
Thoughts after having them installed for a bit, random order:
1. I prefer the lights being above the windshield, doesn't block your view this way.
2. It's a pain trying to line up multiple lights/multiple beam patterns. They're crooked on purpose.
3.The molex power connectors have to be secured somehow or they rattle against the window frame. I'll drill holes and clean up my wiring when I do #4.
4. Note the passenger side crack. You have to take the whole assembly down to replace the windshield. I think this would be a common thing with any of this type of light mounts.
5. Can't fold the windshield down. I wasn't really planning on that anyway.
6. I prefer the slightly old school look of multiple roundish lights as opposed to a light bar.
