Does anybody here have first hand experience comparing a G-5261 to a 290A?

They both seem to meet the same specifications. One series costs more than the other. I am wondering if there are any specific comparisons. I searched Google and did not find anything.

I can't help with the comparison, but I prefer to support US companies as much as possible. I have Crosby 209s, but have switched to soft shackles.

I now have first hand experience googling both…

I was expecting to buy a pair of the 3/4" Crosby 290A 7 ton WLL shackles, but stumbled on the Greenpin brand, which seems to be made to top specifications in the Netherlands and sells for just a bit more than half the price of the equivalent Crosby.

This made me wonder if someone somewhere has done any head to head comparisons.
