Looking to see if anyone pulls a camper large enough to have everything inside. Not like a tear drop kitchen outside. It’s kinda tough with the weight limits, or maybe I’m not looking in the right direction.

You are gonna have a hard time finding a camper for a 2 door wrangler with the 2,000lbs towing capacity and 200lbs tongue. Unless you go teardrop or squaredrop.

I think there are some ultralight campers being developed that might have what you ask. But the lightest I've seen was like 1,800lbs dry... and it is very very likely you will go way over 2,000lbs. Typically it is suggested to stay between 800-1200lbs dry for the 2 door JLs.

I have a JLUR, but we researched the hell outta TTs earlier this year.

We didn't find anything under 2400 pounds that would be considered a travel trailer. Sorry.

Keep searching though! There are some "teardrops" that have a door, a small kitchenette and a lavatory inside.

Thanks! That actually gave me a few more results than I’ve been finding. Scamp looks little odd but fits the bill. I liked the rpod 151 and 171 but at the top end of weight empty.

Wonder if anyone has added stabilizer etc and pulled slightly bigger?
We have a trailer that's at or a little over max when loaded.

It's a bit to deal with. We have WDH, brake controller, sway control bar.

Did you get the Mopar brake controller or aftermarket? How well does it work?

So we actually got this guy to rent out to Jeepers specifically, hence why we've gone and made sure the JLU can handle it and provide all the gear needed to tow it safely.

Therefore, we went with the (expensive) Curt bluetooth controller. It plugs into the vehicle's 7 pin plug, then the trailer plugs into it. There's an app that one would download and then the controller senses when braking is applied and sends that signal to the trailer based on the settings the app gives it, which the operator can adjust. Braking power, sensitivity, whether hazards affect the trailer brakes or not, and different vehicle profiles are the big features.

The other criteria is that the frontal area of the van cannot exceed 20 square feet as per the Jeep manual.
