Anyone have any video or photos showing it in action from the LA auto show?

Wanting to know when they fold, is there a flat surface, a ramped surface, or a bump at the hinge?

I'm not sure this answers your questions, but here:

I'm wondering what kind of support is underneath that middle section. Just looks like carpet over a gap.

The angle isn't ideal, but not a dealbreaker. An air mattress in there should even things out.

The subwoofer looks a lot bigger from this angle. What else is in that side compartment?

Is there storage in the floor if the subwoofer isn't there any more?

The 2 door has the subwoofer in the floor, and the 4 door has it in the picture above. This means that the 4 door gets about the same amount of in-floor storage as before.

Any indication of how the 2 door's seats look when folded forward? I know they weren't flush in the JK, but any change on the JL?

For sleeping it’s actually better to tilt a bit.

However, for stacking loads and such that angle keeps things from seating in joints and seams meant to aide stacking and securing items, so they are more prone to disengaging and sliding around.

I have to use a piece of plywood for stacking race gear. Didn’t have plywood for one trip last week when I had a rear passenger in the 40 split and the top box kept sliding around.. but I guess that’s what bungee cords are for.
