well... because i am an idiot... and i am very new...

i realized that the new tires i want to put are actually 285 (BFG A/T) which makes them around 34in

i think i should be ok...

am i ok to put them on with no liFT?

yes your rubicon should handle the 285 with no issue at all

You might want to read the sidewall of your current tires. If you put 285s on your wasting your money. You have 285s on it already

285 is the width, not the height. What is the aspect ratio?

285/75/17 would be a ~33.8” tall tire

285/70/17 is the stock tire (~32.7” tall)

You're fine without regearing, as others have said/. If oyu move to 37s, that's where the consideration should be.

WIth a bigger than stock tire though, you likely will rub if you are wheeling and getting flexy with the suspension.

I will this Saturday! No plans on re gearing immediately, will see what is like offroading and go from there.

They're going to be very similar if not nearly exact in size to the stock 33"s, you'll be fine. I would go slightly larger if it were me, but seeing that you're in Saudi Arabia I bet you have different terrain than I do over here in California.
