Wow - the race looked terrible for 5K. Glad we’re changing it all out!
Would your order of bearings and ring gear be different if regearing a Sport without lockers? Thanks
The order I would assemble the carrier wouldn't be different.Would your order of bearings and ring gear be different if regearing a Sport without lockers? Thanks
This isn't just a daily limit, it's a full 24 hour hold. I'll get the PTQR video uploaded as soon as I'm able.Looks like YouTube is telling me to slow down. The videos will continue in the morning. Lol
Thanks, man. These guys next door are killing me. The trees they're cutting down are literally 25 feet away. Lol. I decided to just put the rear end together and finish the video series using the front carrier. It'll be exactly the same, so this will at least save me some time to keep things moving here. The rear pattern looks awesome and the backlash is set to .008". There was no need to redo the pinion. The center of the pattern was .0015" off center, which is pretty precise. I'll finish the videos with the front like I mentioned and I'll run through each step of loading the carrier, running through the pattern, and setting ring gear depth to get the backlash perfect.Loving the videos and info. Keep ‘em coming Shawn!!
Who knows, maybe I’ll regear my new one as well some day.
