Disabling inactivity shut down after 30 minutes?

Has anyone found a way to prevent the ieep from shutting off after 30 minutes of inactivity? Sitting on the beach cranking tunes and after 30 minutes, ACC turns off. Run will turn off after 30 minutes as well.

Doesn't the little button in the center turn off ESS? I would think that would defeat it

Wonder if this is something that could be done by the tazer and a feature request be put in with that vendor.

Isn't it a battery protection safeguard? How long can it run (assuming it didn't shut itself off) before the battery would be too drained to start? I would think this is a good feature to have when the engine isn't running

Reminding you to start your Jeep so you don’t kill the battery.

I am running a PV battery charger thus am not concerned about running the battery down. I too wonder if Tazer could over ride this feature.

Just posted in another thread with the answer to this issue...

came up with my own solution to keep the radio and wifi on indefinitely. made a 1 minute youtube here to show others how:

In a nut shell: Run, Handbrake, Neutral and dont forget to charge battery simultaneously for long uses. Been using this method for a few weeks and works a treat. Shame Jeep doesn't take owners issues seriously - they really need to get over the air software updates happening in response to consumer demand!

try listening to the waves , no batteries or buttons are required , beaches are so amazing without loud speakers
