Direct from LOD or Northridge

Hi!

I'm planning on ordering an LOD bumper in the next few weeks. I see that Northridge 4x4 is a distributor, with the same pricing. Is there any advantage to ordering from Northridge vs. direct from LOD? My only thinking being that Northridge's orders might get some priority due to volume.

I ordered my front bumper directly from LOD. They post on this site frequently so they may respond themselves, but I don't think there is any advantage from a time standpoint. The only advantage, in my opinion, would be if Northridge is offering free shipping.

Thanks for the quick feedback! As dumb as it makes me sound, I had not even compared the shipping. I'm willing to bet that LOD drop ships for Northridge, but at their volumes maybe free shipping is a possibility.

Northridge offers a forum discount and free shipping. Sometimes they stock the parts and ship them really fast (same or next day), sometimes they have it drop shipped directly from the manufacturer which typically takes longer.

As others said, LoD drop ships for northridge. Can’t say how much northridge stocks though. Main thing is you’re buying a terrific product from two great companies. For sure check out the shipping as that can add up quick. I will say, LoDs packaging Dept is on point and stuff arrives perfect everytime

Second to this. When LOD packages there stuff so well to protect from damage that it made my old man all frustrated from trying to unpack everything, they're doing it right. Kudos to LOD for taking the extra time and effort to package their stuff well, and bonus cookie points for pissing off my pops in the process! (I should have videotaped him unpacking it :D :P)

I would try Northridge first since their forum discount is 10% and free shipping over a certain amount.
