I have a stock 2018 JL Sahara without rear limited slip. I want to upgrade my differential covers and add some skid plates to the front and rear. Could you guys provide recommendations please.

I have Rancho Diff Gliders on my Rubicon. I think they make them for the non Dana 44 diffs too.

I just got my Rancho front skid in yesterday, and my rear will be here next week. Rear was probably overkill, but its cheap insurance. I have been all too cautious when wheeling over rocks (get out and check clearance).....and nobody has time for that.

OP can't do Metalcloak diff covers. They are only making covers for the M210 and M220 differentials (Rubicon).
Not going to work on the Sahara.

Their skid system is still a viable option, though they are a bit heavy.

Do most front diff skids fit over any replacement cover?

I was going to get the MC front with skid, but I'm not a big fan of the fill hole and needing to measure to fill. Looking at the AEV now.

Can anybody confirm that the Rancho skids fit on the Dana covers? I wanted the MC, and much less expensive, but just cant get over the goofy fill hole

I like the idea of the glide plates. I'm curious how they look from far away. I don't want a bunch of "extra stuff" under the jeep. I guess I could always paint them black.
