Yes do a google search or go to Youtube and you will be overloaded with information.

Jeep did continue with a 2018 model year JK which production is scheduled to end April 1st. So you will have 2018 JK and JL models.

The JL is the newer model and although it looks similar to an untrained eye Jeep completely redesigned it. The major differences will be-
1. All new interior
2. New and improved Soft-top system
3. Extended Wheelbase for better ride
4. 8 speed automatic transmission for better MPG
5. More raked windshield for better MPG
6. Easier fold down windsheild

There are a ton more details but these are some of the big ones. Best thing to do is go visit a dealer, test drive them back to back and decide which is best for you. After driving my sister-in-laws JK for a few days and then driving the JLU I decided to order a JLU the next day. IMHO the ride is a huge upgrade as is the interior fit and finish.

Exactly. The JK was produced as Mercedes gutted Chrysler. Over the years they made some improvements and the JK is great. With this new JL they have addressed a LOT of issues big and small. There are a lot of small things that were an annoyance and made you say "why! Just why?". These have been redisigned / fixed in the JL.

I'll add to the above list a few of the small changes that are HUGE if you owned a JK (IMO)

- Folding down rear seat in 4 door you had a large gap. They put panels in so now it is flat when seats are folded in the cargo area
- Updated hood latches that stop the hood from fluttering wearing paint on the underside front lip
- Added the side fender vents to also help with hood fluttering and help to reduce heat build up under the hood
- Doors, hood, and Windshield are now Aluminum (much lighter and more corrosion resistant)
- (already mentioned) Stop top is redesigned, no more zippers, much easier to remove windows, drop and put back up
- Rear seat headrests can now be dropped down while seat is upright for better visibility out rear window
- Backup Camera on all models
- Rear tire lowered for improved visibility
- Window outline lowered for improved visibility
- Front windshield required 28 bolts to drop it down, now it takes 4 bolts
