Diesel Diff Housing

Do the non-rubicon, diesel dana 44's come with the same pumpkin as the rubicons? I.E. could I put a stock rubicon locker in a non-rubicon diesel differential housing?

They are not as wide as Rubicons I’m pretty sure but other wise they are Dana 44s

Was off-roading over the weekend and scuffed my Front Dif in the mud, scared me enough to want to go out and buy a dif skid plate.

Does anyone know if this Rough Country M210 Dana 44 skid plate would fit?

My build sheet lists the front Diff as an M210...

They are not as wide as Rubicons I’m pretty sure but other wise they are Dana 44s

I was under impression all EcoDiesels came w/ D44 M210 front axles. I'm curious why rubicon would be wider? I upgraded my diff covers on my Sport S to Yukon D44 and they fit fine.

Wider axles are part of the selling point of the Rubicon package.

I was told that does not fit a Diesel. clearance issues between diff skid and oil pan.

The Rancho I ordered also did not fit. others did get it to work. Per Rancho, a new front diff skid is coming out early 2022, so we will see.
