Spark plug failure?

I'm surprised to see the front tires still inflated! It seems like anytime I see an engine fire the front tires go pretty quickly.
aluminum radiator melted, alloy hood and fender melted, but tires are fine. Strange!

I obviously don't know what happened, but to me it looks like the fire might have been in the front right engine area (passenger side). I know for my diesel I ran some wiring thru the lower grill and up into the fender area. If someone wasn't be careful on how they routed their wiring or using good heat resistant tape doing the same as I did, they could easily start a fire there. There are a few items in the front right that can get hot or have significant heat sinks on them.

Anyone know the follow-up on what happened? I am not on the FaceBook to see the thread this got pulled from but by now I'd think he has some answers.

And yeah, how in the heck did his tires not melt?

Nothing updated at all. Very frustrating not to know more about what happened.

Wait... diesels don't have spark plugs?
