On my end it was the 1990’s and up until one particularly snowy winter, I was a hot rod owner. Having owned a 56 Chevy, 70 Nova, 70 Chevelle, 71 Monte Carlo and numerous Camaros and Mustangs.

This winter however, I found myself driving my Chevelle home in a freak snowstorm that had me white knuckling it for 50 miles of curvy and hilly backroads, I swore to god that if he let me and my car make it home that I’d buy a 4x4! I made it home and bought my first Jeep about a month later.

I went in with my brother in law on our Corvette Z06 convertible, so I could afford a used 2019 Sahara with SOT! Unfortunately my brother in law passes away in a glider acciden in July of ‘19. Sure do miss him! Ordered it and picked it up in Bowling Green, and drove it back to Cali together.

I traded in my 1999 FRC (hardtop) Corvette after 11 fun years of cruising for a JL Sport. I was ready for a change and to check off Wrangler from my bucket list. I miss the Vette once in a while but do love the year round any road condition sporting drive of the wrangler.

Sold my Audi S5 yesterday and will put in an order for a Rubicon in a few weeks. My wife and I are on a side quest to visit all state parks in Colorado (you get a button or a gold star or something) and the S5 didn't like the dirt roads so much.

Same here. Had a few butt clenching moments on a couple turns, because I was so used to driving my Mustang through those. I'm starting to get used to driving slower and leaving more room in front of me. It does feel nice when you notice more people getting out of your way and letting you in than usual, but leaving so much room makes it easier for people to cut in.

Yup, traded a 2013 Audi RS5 that was "slightly modified". I loved that car, but it was getting up in miles and about to get expensive maintenance-wise. Plus my last encounter with the NC highway patrol was not pretty, so it was time.
