I don't think the Rubicon has fake vents....
I’m thinking the hood vents don’t do any venting. If you’re lucky enough to see a JLUR in person, you’ll see that the insulation under the hood has no perforation below those vents. If hot air is going to get through, it has to pass through the thick padding material, or get routed to the vent by some unseen ducting.

I have a 2017 JKU with the power dome hood, which has an approx. 1/2” diameter drain hole on each vent. If the JLUR has such drain holes, I don’t see how any water can get through that under-hood padding.

Can any of our new JLUR owner friends confirm?

They've gotta stop showing Hella Yella with those graphite rims until one/both are actually available. Bastards...

Does anyone understand what the square holes in the half-doors are for?

I love half-doors, but being able to see the seat controls through there bugs the crap out of me.

For visibility when wheeling in tight places.

But in reality, I don't think it would help much due to the seat and passenger's legs. Just take the doors off or get the tube doors if you need the visibility. I just think it would look soo much cleaner without it.

Agreed. I like the clean look of solid half doors. Perhaps MOPAR or aftermarket will offer them.

I do like the tube doors too though! I'll probably end up getting them. I live in SOCAL and my roof is going to be off almost all the time.

In one of the interviews they said it was their response to the off road community not being able to see smaller vehicles when changing lanes. Being one of those guys I can absolutely agree there have been times where I've honestly not seen a smaller car and almost used them as an articulation point...

we need those black wheels on the Hella Yella..

The ones on the Hella Yella honestly might be the stock ones. The lighting makes a huge difference. I went and looked at a JL rubicon last weekend and when I was driving up I thought they were all black rims, it was overcast. It wasn't until I got directly in front of them that I could see the silver.

I would much prefer the all black but I am starting to think they are production rims but because it's inside and the carpet is dark, stage was dark its making the rims look dark.
