So.
I’ve been a member since roughly late 2018 posted on a few threads
Gained a whole bunch of knowledge from this forum, but never did a dedicated build thread of our Family 4x4.
I figured it was time to start since the list of mods, even though small in some cases, have grown to a significant amount to post about.
I’ve done all the work myself unless otherwise noted.
I’ll start like any build page with a bone stock, blank canvas.
Here’s our Wrangler When it was first purchased.
It took a few weeks for delivery since it was purchased on our neighbor island.
We live in Hawaii, on the island of Kauai
The VERY first mod I did was the recline kit for the rear seats for a little more comfort.
Unfortunately I had no pics of the install, but it’s pretty straightforward.

Moving on.
The second and third order of business was to get rid of the plastic steps, and make that damn front end blend in better.
So I De-Badged The whole vehicle, took apart the front grille and plastic bumper, and gave it a once over with some satin black.
Next I attacked the interior
Made a makeshift top holder and removed the freedom panels and the entire hardtop.
Taped off the required areas and used the rest of my satin black paint and did a DIY color matched interior.
And all installed:
