In case anyone is looking for the upgraded Delran door pins, TMR customs has them. They were a great fit, and came with the removal tool. It took about an hour total to put them on moms jeep, and the fit was great. I no longer have to worry about the salt in the MN winter mechanically bonding the doors to the Jeep.

So bushings. I was wondering how an actual hinge pin in a plastic would hold up ;)

I wonder if they're using actual Delrin (Kleenex) or just packaging as such and using acetal (tissue). It would be cheaper to use acetal.

I did this too...the original bushings were a pain to hammer out even with the tool!

I had these in our JKU and loved them. I didn’t think we needed them in the JL. Are the factory bushings the same in JK and JL?

I believe they are. From what ive read, the JK ones are a direct fit for the JL, so I think they are the same.

Keep the pins properly greased and make sure to open all the doors on occasion and this is a non-issue. You only need to worry if no grease and the doors sit unused for a long time that they will seize up.
