Delays in production/delivery to Ontario, Canada

Called my dealer today. They said that they have no info and there is no vin assigned.
It has been close to 8 months.
When i drive around in the GTA (greater Totonto area ) i see alot of jeeps at other dealers.
Does FCA have preferred dealers that get their jeeps before others?
Or is it just me being paranoid?

IDK took a month before I got my VIN.

so did a search on cryptostickers. last month, 35 orders inputted for tracking that were 2 drs. out of those only 7 are sports (Willys etc) all the rest were rubis. so unless you ordered a 2dr rubi its gonna take some i guess.

Thats interesting... I put my order in as well on Aug 30th, got a VON about a week later but still no VIN Although I'm sure its also dependent on build spec with this chip shortage crap

nope... Ordered 2.0 Auto. ...Also added the advanced safety pack and 4C Nav (i'd think one or both may be holding me back...)

I didn't order advance safety but all the other tech. I don't see the need for the advance safety on a 2dr off road vehicle. On my current vehicles as soon as I get in I'm turning the stuff off.

Plus the black box on the side of the rear tail lights (the blind spot monitoring) looks horrible imo

Yeah i hear ya. It makes sense for you. Mines the 4 door and will also be a daily driver with kids so aside from the bind spot monitoring aesthetics look (which i agree with you on), and forward collision stuff, they're still a useful features for us.
