Put deposit down in November- was told late Jan- early February.

Feb was told end March


April was told September probably.


i know and understand about the chip shortage. just disappointed.


when i asked about what Model Year it would be - dealer told me “still a 2021” i’m hoping not.

Sorry to hear this, you were one of the first deposits as you placed it back in November. I placed my deposit 11/19 or 11/20 and delivered mid April.
Any chance the dealership gave your spot away and moved down your build slot?
Hope the chips start coming in and your delivery date gets moved up!

Do you have a VIN? I have a VIN and supposedly "parts are being gathered" for the order. I placed my order on November 23d. Sting gray, power top, front camera, hinge-gate reinforcement, and tow package.

I'm in the same boat, but I've never had a Sept date relayed to me. Dealer hasn't received any yet and I was their first 392 order on 11/28. Status with VIN assigned for last 2 weeks has been "will be scheduled for build once there is allocation"

Get back your deposit and find another dealer who has an available allocation.

Did you try speaking to Jeep Chat in addition to your dealer? Sometimes they are helpful. My order placed in December was just built and they said it’s being held for either more QA or delivery schedule.

I have gone through 3 month of clutch recall. Dealers are full of bs, not everybody knows how to do thing or they will think they do know and lie to you. Luck if you found somebody is professional.

I called HB jeep last week, and one of the sales told me the 392 wasn't't released yet, jeep is focusing on the 4xe now, and the center stage is 4xe, nobody has the 392.....That's the sales from so-called largest jeep dealer in the country. Amazing.

Do you have a VON and VIN? If you don’t get your deposit back. Also, check for the preferred dealers here on the forum. You might save $$$ and have a better experience.

Seems like Stellantis continues to protect Wrangler and is sacrificing Cherokee, amongst other FCA product lines:

I'm not the most well spoken about it, but basically it's a global microchip shortage due to the pandemic, that's causing major delays in just about anything that uses them. Cars, electronics, computers etc.

Several auto manufacturers are idling some of their plants because they can't get enough of them to keep building cars.
