I went on jeep.com to build my Jeep and look at different configs.

First of all, prices have been adjusted...up, of course.

More importantly, when building a Rubicon, BFG tires are no longer the tire, Falken Tires are what is on the Jeep!

I have no experience with Falken, but IMHO anything is a step down from BF Goodrich.

Is this a regional thing (I'm in Texas) or has anyone else seen this?

Showing up as BFGs for me. I know the Falkens are standard on the Gladiator because they support a greater GAWR.

Off all the all terrains or mud-tires I have used BFGs are at the bottom for me .. to much hype in the name .. though I do like the all terrains better then the M/Ts ..

I just built the config I ordered a couple of weeks ago, and everything is still the same. Of course, with everything being bigger in Texas...

I've had 7 different sets of BFGs, mostly KO2s, and the last set gave me 66,000 miles!

They've proven themselves for my use, but YMMV, of course.

I sure hope they are still on the JLUR when I order.

The Falken’s are a better tire for sure!! Just go and read test reviews of tires. I don’t have the link right now but a year or so ago they tested several of the top rated tires and the Falkens came in #1, that’s why I bought them and put them on my 2017 JK with my upgraded rims. I did the 285/70/17 Falken AT3/W tire.

Duratracs are top of my list. Won't drive anything without them.

Dealer by me finally got a Mojito 2019 rubicon in. And it has the Falkin. Hate them, hate the look...nothing like Jeep raises prices and taking away the best AT tire on the market. Jeep is getting so cheap!

I heard someone complained that the KO2s are garbage so because they are very customer oriented they switched to a tire brand I never heard of before.

Dammit! I was starting to think I was going crazy. Nope...at least not for this. Nobody's gonna buy those takeoffs.

This is a terrible decision. Next they'll replace the Alpine System with Pyle speakers.

Well, that settles it. I guess I'll just buy a minivan.

Just take them off and put the tires on you want. Many do that no matter what tire is on it. If a particular tire brand means you are going to chuck the entire vehicle then enjoy your minivan because you don't deserve a JL.

What’s the cost difference of the 2017 JL and the 2019 on the website?
