DEF usage

How is everyone going with DEF/Ad Blue usage? I've done 12,500km and had to put 30l in mine.

10000km and added 10 litres at about 6000km mark have about 1/2 tank still..

20,000km and now over 60l added. Defintely cheaper to buy at the pump than in a bottle. Only crappy thing is the closest pump is 25min drive each way.

I am at 15km and I put in a 5l bag I had from my last car.
it says I still have about 45% remaining, so I guess I will add some soon though.

I have 12,500 km on the clock and the AdBlue deposit is 50% , so I am guessing I have to fill up the full tank every 20,000 km.

Does anyone know the capacity of the Adblue tank? EDITED: I just saw in the manual that the AdBlue tank has a capacity of 19 litres.

That is interesting about the Adblue tank capacity. Mine got down to showing a range of 200km and when I filled it up only took 13l.

At least it's consistent with the fuel tank. Will show a range of 50km and only takes 70l to fill when the capacity is 81l.

It starts showing range to not working at about 2,000km to go I think it was. It's a warning when you start up.

Based on how much I’ve filled it, it’s gotta be about 15litres

The complete filling takes about 14/15 liters, 95% of this can be use by DEF system to prevent a vacuum.

@2500km the first warning will appear. Warning will change within mileage.

I refilled my DEF tank @13240km during first annual service.

I now have 21051km and it shows me exactly half a tank remaining.

Within normal days, I won't drive short trips and often restart cold engine.

62km each day of commuting. Some hunting or sport trips on weekend. Seems to be the best usage of a diesel engine.
