Deegan 38 Winch vs Smittybilt X2O 10k

Doing a search yielded no results for Extreme Terrain’s Deegan 38 9,500lb winch so here goes... Does anybody have this winch? I was leaning towards the Smittybilt X2O 10k, but I like the fact that the Deegan is about half the weight (57.5lbs vs 99lbs). I suspect that the Deegan is a rebranded lower-tier winch like a Barricade or something. Both come with synthetic ropes and wireless controllers. Of course I’d like to have a Warn Zeon, but I don’t want to drop 2X+ the price of the Deegan or the Smittybilt for a winch.

I have an X20 12k w/ synthetic, but if I were buying now, I'd probably buy the Harbor Freight Badlands.

The SB x20 with synthetic rope is more like 65#. I just received mine but haven’t installed it yet. I could reasonably carry it by the packing straps with 1 hand.

Why would you buy the badlands 90 day warranty, over smittybuilt now...lifetime warranty over 90 day warranty,water proof vs maybe water proof.Do you know someone that has a badlands and whats their impression???

SMITTYBILT X2O 10K with synthetic rope. I like the remote control but also comes with a cable incase the battery is dead you aren't left stranded.

i actually just went and bought a badlands ZXR 12000 lb cause of the crazy great price.. Tried to install it today, and it doesnt fit on my cavfab bumper...Gotta take it back and try something else
