I removed the Jeep badges from the side of my JLU and plasti-dipped the Trail Rated badge today. Thought some of you may want to see what it looks like without them!

Simply heat the decal up with a heat gun or hair dryer and peel. It comes off pretty easy. Same goes for the Jeep emblem, too.How did you remove the "sport" badging? I'd like to do that as well.
The “Sport Unlimited” part is actually the easiest as it is just a sticker. Carefully pull up a corner with your fingernail and pull it off and that’s all she wrote! How did you remove the "sport" badging? I'd like to do that as well.
There is usually an indent under the trail rated badge. You will have a circle there and possibly guide holes if you remove it.Does the Trail Rated badge come off easily? How does that work? Does it snap off and back on or something?
Thanks! Honestly it's only for the standard radio and I don't really listen to the radio often. Reception is definitely worse than factory, if you use the radio for music I would get something else. If you are like me and you use your iPhone with spotify or podcasts 99% of the time than its a great cosmetic upgrade! Keep in mind the XM radio uses a separate antenna so it still sounds perfect. How is the reception with the bullet antenna?
Read some negative reviews on it.
Looks greats debadged and dipped.
Yes what Jay said, I'm not sure I would recommend trying to remove the trail rated badge. Besides it's badass! There is usually an indent under the trail rated badge. You will have a circle there and possibly guide holes if you remove it.
Well plus yours has a sick red outline on the Rubi and helps tie everything in!I kept the Jeep logo because it's a throw back to the CJ days but yea, that Wrangler Unlimited sticker was the first thing to go. Looks good.
Throw back to the CJ and TJ. Actually only the JK was missing it.I kept the Jeep logo because it's a throw back to the CJ days but yea, that Wrangler Unlimited sticker was the first thing to go. Looks good.
Since I have an Ocean blue Rubicon, I'm definitely looking to remove all the red on the exterior. Was wanting to take my badge off too to have it dipped.Does the Trail Rated badge come off easily? How does that work? Does it snap off and back on or something?
I always figured that people mask and spray - not remove dip and reinstall.Since I have an Ocean blue Rubicon, I'm definitely looking to remove all the red on the exterior. Was wanting to take my badge off too to have it dipped.
