Those were the days... if you could get 'er spinning, you could get 'er home.At least Triumph was smart enough to use a magneto so I could get home , although often without lights.
Kick start 52 Triumph 650 . Great MC other than the Lucas electrics. I mounted a Sportster battery box (no battery stock) a Ford voltage regulator, and rewired ( minimal) using toggle switches. Unfortunately there was no alternative to the problem prone Lucas generator, but the battery bought me some lights time.Those were the days... if you could get 'er spinning, you could get 'er home.
