To be complete, while the oem track bar was a bit squishy, it was the bad ball joint that was the primary culprit.
the Clayton track bar is well built, beefy, nice rod ends, and fit nicely with no clearance issues, can’t ask for much more from bar. Finish has held up well to its first MN salty winter.

I had reoccurring DW after a Clayton lift. Turned out the OEM drag link bushings were prematurely worn which actually caused one bushing on the Clayton track bar to wear (either that or it was defective).

Replaced the OEM drag link and tie rod with SteerSmarts and Clayton honored a warranty claim on their track bar. Should have upgraded the OEM steering components when I lifted it. Lesson learned.

Now she rides better than OEM. I now believe when you lift you should upgrade your steering components as well. Lift causes more stress on the steering components. OEM stuff is marginal and for the masses.
