I bought a 392 at Koons about 2 months ago fully loaded with $87k sticker. I have never paid over MSRP in my life but ended up paying $94k as I made $60k profit on my trade in of a 2021 Porsche 911 Targa. I avoided $4k of tax by trading it in and new 2023 sticker for mine was $90k so it was a wash. I know you can get $8k off by ordering but I wanted to lock in profit on my Porsche. Anyway, I see they are listing them now close to MSRP for anyone wanting one and not wanting to wait. And with 2023 prices higher not a terrible deal. Saw a blue one for $82k. I absolutely love mine and waiting for 2023 Rubicon 20th 392 anniversary to hopefully order one. Any word on that from anyone? I have heard crickets from all my sources.

Thanks for posting, IMHO Weā€™re just getting started. Inventory starting to go up nicely. Demand is going down sharply. That equals future great deals.

Oh I agree on that. The correction in auto pricing started in May and will accelerate. But there is some risk with the 392 being this very well may be last year of production. Maybe it's not but certainly a risk. If you 100% want a 392, I would order this year.

I'll bet that advertised price doesn't include $800 in doc fee and $5k in BS add-ons they'll require you to buy to get that price...

Yeah, I pulled the trigger yesterday. The discount was better than expected.

Iā€™m seeing 392ā€™s sitting on lots out here in SoCal. Dealers are still sticking them with big ADMā€™s, but something tells me they arenā€™t selling. Probably will continue to sit there out of stubborn hope.

Donā€™t worry, the dealers are going to start getting squeezed. Their low interest free money is going to get reset. That inventory is going to need to turn over soon.

Yep, most floorplan financing is adjustable rate. Costs them money just to have it on the lot another day. Plus, banks reduce advance rates on aged inventory (meaning they can borrow less money against it), which hurts them further.
