Here I am at Jeep in Paramus Nj with this coupon trying to purchase a tire and the manager is telling me a tire isn’t a part.
totally refusing to honor the coupon.
@JeepCares care to call these people up?

Jeep Wrangler JL DEALERSHIP WONT HONOR THEIR OWN COUPON F6646AB5-C759-45E6-AE50-86BEBE49179F
Now he wants me to print it out. I’m like “dude where the hell do I do that? I live an hour away”. So I ask him for his email to send it. Give me attitude but agrees.
Says he has to pass it along to the OWNER and see what he says

Man, all of that just for $50 off? The coupon maxes at $50, should be a no brainer for the "owner".

Tires are not parts.
Then the offer should have excluded “tires” and anything else that they determine isn’t a ”part” in the small print. Is a lug nut a part? Is a rim a part? Is a valve stem a part? Is the tpms a part?

I guess, it would probably be as long as a CVS receipt

****UPDATE****
Parts manager came out and wouldn’t explain to me what was going on after he printed the coupon. He left and came back twice, to then tell me it’s “not a part”
So I ask him “Why does parts sell it? Is this not where I order lug nuts and wheels? Those are parts yes? So how does the tire which you sell, and I can visibly see behind your counter, not qualify as a part? Explain it to me I’m just trying to understand”
He got pissed, threw his arms up and walked away.

Typical games played by a service department. Take your money elsewhere.

Why would you be buying tires from a dealership when they are known to be highly overpriced and you can almost assuredly find the same tire for 20% less at a big name discount tire store.

Dealership service departments are for three things, free oil changes, warranty work and denying warranty work. Why anyone would buy tires from them in this day and age is a head stumper unless it was an emergency case.

Oh and YES the coupon is poorly worded and open to broad interpretation which means it’s a no win situation and not worth $50 even on principle.

I wouldn't hold a grudge against the dealership. Manufacturers parts at 20% off is a nice coupon. But tires usually are gotten from a distributor and all the associated costs.

And the coupon does have wording that is like a condition obligation.

Coupon says see service advisor for conditions, you did, he told you, issue resolved. Tires, batteries, brake pads are disposables not parts, just like under warranty.
