Wow, I was just at my local dealership (Northern CA). Not only do they have a very limited inventory but every single vehicle on the lot has an added $5,000 "market adjustment" over MSRP.
When the economy crashes (and it will-soon) we will look back on this and shake our heads. It's no wonder the used market is what it is.

I went with Rydell in Van Nuys. This was through their internet orders and ordered mine at MSRP.

From what I understand dealers in California are doing custom orders at MSRP, they are having issues filling their lots and hoping people back away once the vehicles arrive. If its already on the lot, they are marking it up.
They are also buying people out off their leases plus giving cash as an incentive. Weird times.

Not CA but 5K markup is the cheapest in Phoenix as long as I know for '22 order. For left over '21, 30K premium is the standard here.

I ordered mine from Rydell at $1000 off MSRP back in August. Donāt know if that offer still stands but worth looking into.
