As an added bonus, I thought the Tread Lightly membership expired on Jan 1st no matter when you signed up. I was incorrect and it turns out the membership is for a year from sign up and you can generate 2 control numbers per year.

I used my first in Oct 2021 on my 2021 JLU Sport Strippper and just generated another for my on order 2022 Sport S, Human Edition.

It appears I can generated one more control number in 2022.

I sure hope the Wrangler is eligible when mine drops, probably in April (Mid-Dec order)

Would be another $450 off the price.

I used Bud Clary in Auburn WA for my 21 4xe and they gave a very aggressive discount at the time. Unfortunately the sales manager that gave me the deal has since left that dealership. You might want to just reach out to the salesman that helped me and see if he can do anything.

I got 7% below invoice on my 19 from MacHaik. I've got a call into the guy now waiting to hear back. I'll pull the trigger today...

the dealerships are not all hitting the volumes to get the hold back etc + i think they are offering at discount to get volume to get bigger allocations from FCA, which they can sell @ MRSP, to people who do not know to ask for below Invoice pricing - I've fought long and hard with multiple dealerships in Houston, and won't go below Invoice (2021)- I guess most people suck up MRSP or believe the stories on no below invoice - amount of times i have been told that no one gets below invoice on wrangler ..... but then again many of the associaites struggle to navigate the Build My Jeep page ... so what do they know

don't waste your time - quoted me MRSP 5 weeks ago and lowball offer on my 2019 Sahara $41K, then i pushed them to $42/$43K 2 weeks later, and i sold to BMW for $47K

They also told me they only need to honour affilaites, if they want to

Update: Travis @ Tri-City Jeep in Eden, NC is offering 5% below invoicing on ordered units plus the additional 1% off affiliate discount for a total of 6% below invoice.

2019 i got 6% below Invoice from Demontrond - but did not too bad - was 2nd day in country

although bought @ 41.5K + Tax, and have now sold @ $47K to BMW The Woodlands

Added those details along with a new column for affiliate discount. In this case they went from 6% to 5% + 1%. Same total if you qualify for the additional 1%.

I've created a little spreadsheet with my interpretation of ~45 pages of posts. I'll try to keep it updated. The "unknown" column is percent below invoice where I couldn't tell if it required financing or not.

I would recommend calling the candidate dealership(s) and telling them that you found out about their below-invoice pricing through JL Wrangler Forums.

We pretty much only talk about invoice here. Percent under MSRP varies significantly based on the way that markups vary per option.

My 4% under invoice came out to 10% under MSRP, but a 5% under invoice could come out to 9% under MSRP when applied to different options.

I find it interesting that dealers are offering any discounts given the state of the supply/demand curve. I suggest that we consider this the next time we are tempted to call them "stealerships". This would be a time where selling at full MSRP would be socially acceptable in my book. For those that disagree, consider how quickly we all go for the throat when supply exceeds demand.
