Dealer listing My ordered JL

So I ordered up a custom Rubi, I have been watching and waiting.
So today I'm browsing and there's my order listed on the dealers web site as for sale, with a tag of in transit.(Vin verified)
It even has the request a Quote button.
Kinda ticks me off.
In all fairness no money has changed hands yet.
Maybe no reason too be upset but it just bugs me

I have a feeling that there is an automatic process for dealers that populates the vehicles on their sites. I wouldn't be too concerned about this. Mine showed up on my dealer's site while it was in transit and it was there waiting for me when I went to pick it up.

FCA automatically list them on the dealer websites. Nothing to do with the dealer, mine was listed once it got built. No worries, unless you did not put down a deposit.

No worry not for sale just way web site set up if you have doubt call dealer

Thank you , nope no deposit, they didn’t ask but they did send me the vin just a few days after

I think that's normal. I was seeing one listed in transit then on lot at my dealer. Never could find it on the lot...then I saw somone driving it.

Yeah, they all do that...mine was listed on the dealer site automatically...although price was accurate, the picture and option list were both different! Also, the shipping status was obviously wrong too.

Thank you all and it just completed build last Wednesday so I was figuring still a week or 2 out. I will be texting my salesman tomorrow to find out when it’s due

i went to look at a few and was told they were sold orders, so i am guessing it is automated once they ship to dealer

Mine showed up through Jeep.com as "In Transit", but when you clicked on "View on Dealer Site" there was no vehicle to view. It shows up automatically, but if it's showing up on their site, I would probably just make sure with the dealer.

My Rubicon was listed on the Jeep inventory site as well as my dealer's site as soon as it hit KZ. I called my dealer immediately and she told me not to worry and that it was automated by Jeep. She assured me that no one else would be allowed to touch it. When it arrived at the dealership, she sent me pics of it. The day I went to pick it up she told me that countless customers asked about it and were all turned away being told it was already sold. The window sticker even had my name printed on it. Unless you order from a scummy dealership I wouldn't worry too much.

Hopefully this won't happen - his sales person took a day of vacation and another sales person sold it.
Ordered three months ago... Delivered to dealer Friday. They sold it to SOMEONE ELSE on Saturday!

Its normal that sold orders show up on dealer websites. its an automated process when a vehicle is invoiced and in transit to a dealer that it gets transferred to dealers computerized inventory (in transit). It doesn't mean your dealer is trying to sell it to someone else or that they are using yours as bait for someone else. Its just the way the computer systems work.

Mine is listed on the dealer website also. My salesman called me up to let me know it arrives late Saturday. But I can't drive up to the dealership until Friday. Hope it's still there on Friday.
