I ordered a punk'n JLUR that should be here by April. It will be my DD along with being the vehicle we use for long trips. I also do take it offroad once a month on weekends. I was thinking about getting two sets of tires and wheels... One for DD/trips and one for offroading. I'm thinking about this as most AT tires aren't extremely smooth for the street... Even the ko2s aren't all that smooth compared to what's on the Sahara. Plus, if I went this route, I could also get some more aggressive tires for wheeling weekends. I don't mind so much but trying to keep the Mrs happy!

Does anyone else do this? If so, what are some great tires for the road that don't look completely like road tires? Was thinking either 285/75/17 or 315/70/17. I may be adding a 2" lift soon so they need to be bigger than 33s.

Thoughts?

I'll have two sets, just haven't decided on which two.

I do plan on staying in the stock diameter and not stepping up to 35's this time though.
