Damn rain keeps washing the mud off my Jeep

My mindset of other cars prior to owning Jeep: OMG that's a spec of dust, get the quick detailer and MF towel out of the glove box!

My Jeep: why is it raining!!! I wanted to keep the mud for a few more days!




Is this just me? I've been doing some wheeling in Washington past couple days and it's raining so lots of mud to play in and I'm like . But then the same rain washes it off and I'm like

Mud is a personal preference. I hate it but others love it. It gets everywhere and I can never get it looking clean 100%. It can stain rubber hoses and gets in my face when I do anything under the Jeep. If it was a rental, I’d be all about it though

Nowadays--mud is a SOCIAL STATUS--if your jeep is CLEAN, the public thinks that it must be MALLER, or SOCCER MOM JEEP--but

If you have D-RINGS/a roof basket/off-road lights all over and "MUD"--well hell everybody knows it's an OFF-ROAD JEEP !

My JLR is ONLY OFF-ROAD, but I keep her SQUEAKY CLEAN-because it's MY JEEP !

The worst part about that, it means your just going to have to go pla... err...

Your going to have to go through all that hard work and effort it takes to get that perfect muddy sheen reapplied!

Clean, muddy, dusty, dirty. Who gives a F what others think? If you want it noticed and people to say “WOW” then clean it and shine that thing up, otherwise treat it as you want. You are paying the bills.
