The passenger side light is made a little different I think. Mine casts light a little higher and farther right also compared to the driver side light. I think this is by design to illuminate the side of roadways where pedestrians and animals are commonly found.

I got impatient with the Mopar eD unit getting released so I bought some LED bulbs from Amazon “Hikari”.

I didn’t go Oracle because I was unsure on the beam pattern with any of these LED bulbs and these were only $89.

I like the adjustable beam pattern rotation “thingy”. I lined up the beams to point east to west and I haven’t had any issues at all. The cuttlefish isn’t as sharp as some OEM LED offerings but it’s not any worse than the Halogens and it’s not shooting every where, which was my fear. Most importantly, got rid of the ugly yellow color.

I don’t seem to have the right side beam aiming further and higher than the left like mentioned in the previous posts.

Has any one retained the usefulness of their high beam, especially cruious with those that have bulbs that rotate to you can face the diodes N-S or E-W. The Morimoto's don't have a rotating base and when I attempt to turn the high's on the results are laughable, near indistinguishable. Plus I am a getting flashed more recently because "i have my brights on".

The LED’s I used are adjustable and the high beams are still effective when used. Maybe I got lucky with the type of LED I used.

Did you rotate them so that the diodes were facing up-down or left-right? Might are sitting at an angle. Thanks.

Mine are sitting so the chips/diodes are facing left to right. That should be the proper orientation for these halogens.

I guess I better change my bulbs around. The diodes are facing up and down.

What type of LED did you use?

There's a lot of awful information on the forums.

There ARE some LED replacement bulbs that have wonderful beam patterns in halogen housings. In fact, testing has showed that some of them outperform dedicated LED housings. The Supernova V.4 bulbs are a good example.

I have twice the light output now that I had when stock, and I NEVER get flashed by oncoming traffic. The beam patterns are nice and tight, the sides of the roadway are lit, and the color of the light is intense and strong. And, I'm in for about $300 total, instead of $900 or whatever the LED package costs from the factory.
Definitely would love some links to this information and especially those supernova bulbs you mentioned. Thanks!

Just Google Headlight Revolution and you'll find the Supernova V4

Here are BEAMTECH H13’s I picked up off Amazon for $40, I have been out a few times and so far have not been flashed and if they don’t last long I’m not out a ton of $$$$
