Cut fenders?

Fenders chopped. Bedlined Cut the OEM wheel liners to work with chop and turned out great and no issues whatsoever. Waiting on fender lights to help support the fenders. 2.5” spacer lift with 37s. No issue wheeling any of the hard trails yet but love the clearance the chop gave me and no more rubbing.

Looks great! Check out American adventure labs’ hardware for chopped fenders. Having nutcerts and rectangular washers is sooo much nicer than the plastic clips.

Rugged Ridge sells their front liners for around $200.

That's a 100 cheaper than anybody else where did you buy them quadratec ?

That’s the main reason I bought these ones, the price. I got mine from Morris 4x4, but have had better luck ordering directly from Rugged Ridge.

Rugged ridge stands behind their product. they're two doors I had some problems with the rear doors not shutting right and they're making new rear doors this month and they're sending me two new rear doors with the updated stoppers welded in a different spot .the brace and I'm getting two new rear doors free I bought my doors last year from them and they're giving me two new rear doors next month or this month when they come out they stand behind the product

So you're glad you did it I'm just afraid like I said I'm going to have too much wheel well I mean mine looks good right now as far as the wheel well.don't you think by adding another two or three inches mine's going to look like I have 35s instead of 37s

I looked at those and the Artec ones but I just didn’t see justification for it and these worked just fine. And I seem to hit the fenders on a tree once a month and I did t want them to tear instead of the plastic clips just breaking.

Hard to tell from the photos. How did you secure your cut inner fender liners?

I took videos that I need to edit to post eventually. But I used the original holes and It worked just fine. Added screw and nut to The front top and bent the brackets up. Doesn’t let me post the raw videos as too big but took couple snapshots from video that might help

Right on. I almost lost a fender flare while wheeling because the plastic clips failed, and I didn’t trust them at highway speeds. For me, the peace of mind was worth the price.

That looks badass with 37’s and your lift. I’m rocking the front/rear fender chop with 33’s and JLUR suspension on my 2-door Sport (I got 2” of lift from that). I’ll be going to 35’s soon though. Which inner fenders are you going with?

Just curious, which chop kit are you running? The AAL kit? Did you chop the stock sport fenders or pick up a set of Sahara/rubicon fenders to put on your sport to do the chop?

I’m running a kit by Quake LED. I got a set of Rubi fenders then chopped and bed lined them. 35s go on this week!

So that light kit is by quake for the turn signals and running lights? I thought American adventure and rugged ridge was only one making they light kit

Yes quake makes a set too. The lights are sequential turn signals.
