My one week old 80th Edition shows this on the window sticker. I can't find any info on what exactly this "heavy duty suspension" is, although I'm happy that it's included.

Do any of you more experienced Jeepers have any insight?

Thanks in advance.

That is the Sahara suspension also found in the sport altitude.

Is the Sahara suspension a significant upgrade over the std Sport suspension? Higher rate springs, slightly more ground clearance?

Any updates on this topic? I have the 80th with the heavy duty shocks and wanting to go 285 or 295 with my stock 18” wheels but really confused on whether I should do a spring/shock upgrade or if my 80th stock heavy duty is good enough.

It really is only to compensate for heavier use/parts on the Jeep to keep it at stock height. If you are upgrading tires to 33's you have to decide if you are doing any off-roading or it is primarily on road use as you will lose room to articulate and flex the jeep as it takes up more gap in the fender.
