🤬……..still hitting the body bolts, though not as hard, it’s still hitting. You can see the bolt isn’t making square contact now…..

Waiting to hear back from RK, but I gotta feeling the answer is gonna be add more bump……🤦‍♂️…….if that’s the case maybe I’ll go to a progressive bump or hydros, still thinking it over and researching…….

Since centering rear axle in the well my bump stop doesn’t line up when stuffed….so I drilled a new hole and moved the pucks on the 2” steel bump stop block… hits perfectly now…..

Since I centered my rear axle in the wheel well my bumps have never really lined up, so I relocated my pucks thinking this might help, but it didn’t.

That stinks :( How about swapping out bolt for something like this? not sure if would gain enough clearance or not 🤷‍♂️

Yeah , I’ve been thinking about that since before I cut them, the only thing that’s holding me back is the type of head. Not sure an Allen or Torx will not strip out as tight as these stupid bolts are……. Thanks for looking out…….
I can see that. Not much meat on a 8mm Allen

I finally got my body mounts fixed up. When I cut them off per RKs instructions I didn’t cut it real straight, and the big washer was making contact with the bushing cup making a very annoying noise on the trail…….

I solicited some information from @Jeep&dogs ( thanks Jim ). I cleaned up and leveled the bushing, took a little off the cup, and installed a bugle head bolt, that was referenced to me by @hoag4147 ( thanks Rick ), and torqued to 90 ft lbs. And this is what I have now, and “thank god”that, fingernails on a chalkboard sound, is gone…….:)

That looks great. Very clean lines…
Hey sometimes spitballing an idea works, sometimes it doesn’t :). Glad you found a solution that both looks good and works 👍🏻 Would have never thought previous install would create an annoying sound 🤔. When I was reading your comment, I thought you were going to reference fingernail thread 😂.

I know I’m late to the party and may have missed in all the pages of this thread but can you tell me where you got the knob replacement for the 4 wheel selector? I love the simple black cue ball style.

That’s a B&M shifter. Just search B&M shifter JL. I think it’s even sold on Amazon.

Took it out to my testing facility, lol, and the front flexes the same, just effortlessly now. It’s the rear that gained some freedom with the 3 link .…….

@limeade I need a little help remembering when we got these. I can’t find my papers on them. I know there was a few of us that bought the first out batch. Got an email in to them, probably won’t hear from them till Monday.

Thanks @hoag4147 for looking that up!

Looks like the urethane bushing got pushed out. I've had this happen to me on a control arm joint a long time ago. From what I figured out, I had over greased them and it caused this to happen. Not sure which grease you use, but too heavy/thick of a grease could possibly cause this too.

I would think it could be rebuilt without having to drive out the whole joint.
