As you guys know, these come with most options standard. Options ordered include Mopar Roof liner, Mopar plastic mats, Mopar rear gate hinge reinforcements, forward facing camera.

Inspiration for the build is the 392 concept vehicles which featured Crystal Granite, 37’s, the original Mopar beadlocks with matte black rims, Mopar oversized tire carrier, and ARB diff covers in black and appeared to be lifted more than the production versions.

Exterior mods:
1) Mopar Performance Rock Rails
2) Mopar oversized spare tire carrier
3) Mopar Beadlocks with 4.4” BS. Ring powder coated “fine texture black”
4) Teraflex 2 Door JL spacer kit with extended bump stops + 0.5” Teraflex spacer up front. This allowed for an even 1.5” lift front and back
5) Front and rear sway bar end links from Mopar 2” lift kit
6) 37x12.5x17 BFG KO2s (lightest and quietest tire I still trusted in sharp rocks of Central Texas and mixed terrain of Moab).
7) ARB front and rear differential covers
8) MetalCloak rear differential skid
9) Mopar wheel locks x5
10) Mopar locking gas cap (updated version that uses your existing key)
11) Debadged “Jeep” and “Unlimited”
12) Black, shorter antenna

Interior mods:
1) Snellax seat ventilation cover with additional 1” foam insert. Probably my favorite mod as it brought the back of the seat in-line with the head rest which was far to forward and uncomfortable/annoying. Seat very comfortable now and more functional for hot weather.
2) 1/4” Foam tape mod for freedom panels. Noticeably less wind noise and now roof doesn’t leak when in touchless drive through car wash.
3) Hot Heads OEM roof liner completion kit
4) Ceramic tint front two windows to match factory tint and tint on front windshield. All the above are needed for central Texas summers.
5) Mopar stainless steel door sill inserts and stainless steel brake/gas pedals
6) Mopar Jack base extension
7) Tazer JL Lite for tire size recalibration. Total a*sho*le to physically install. Had to remove lower dash panel.
8) Debadge yellow safety stickers on visors
9) Screen protector sourced on Amazon
10) Armrest organizer tray, Amazon
11) 67 Designs drivers side universal phone mount

Mods incoming this week:
1) Rubicon Express shock extensions
2) LCAs from Mopar 2” lift kit

Future mods:
1) ARB portable single air compressor
2) Rigid SAE fog lights in white
3) FAD skid? - MetalCloak?
4) Sunrider Freedom Panal replacement

MetalCloak Rear diff skid. Easy install. Love the finish and quality.

MetalCloak was unsure it would fit given “thicker axle tubes” and offered free return if it didn’t since I was acting kind of as R&D. Luckily, it fit!

This puzzle was almost relaxing. Should add much needed protection from tampering for the engine.

Another discovery. The reduced space under rear cargo area is perfectly shaped to fit the Mopar Jack Base.

Mopar Stainless pedals installed. Look great. These and the Stainless door sills match all the Stainless steel details inside the cabin/steering wheel and makes for a more sleek and upscale interior with the black dash/gear shifters. Kind of doesn’t go with the “Central Texas/Moab rock crawler” ethos I’m going with, but the 392 is something different in its own right.

FWIW, my sister got a brand new Defender, my 392 has better interior quality. Not Gwagon interior quality, but closer than I thought it would be. Surprised.

Did a deep dive. It appears the stock 392 sway bar links are from the standard Rubicon and not the ones from the Mopar 2” lift kit. Neither are the LCAs.

Given the Mopar lift kit is just the shocks, springs, front and rear links and just the front LCAs, all I’m missing are the front/rear sway bar links and front LCAs. Ordered these for a total of $200. Will install myself. Should then have a very close to Mopar lift kit.

Will keep thread updated with progress.

Installed front and rear Mopar Sway Bar end links. New links are about 1” longer than stock. Tricky, took me 2.5 hours. Probably longer than it should have given I was improvising a little with my tools and working with the Jeep on the ground.

Tried to install the Rubicon Express shock extensions. A spacer was slightly to wide for the shock mount. Will need machining. Set an appointment for install by 4wheelparts as I ordered the parts from them.
Still waiting on the Mopar LCAs. The progress continues.

Do you have the link for these? I could not find them when searching. I like these specific ones.
I purchased this one directly from the Snailax website. It appears they no longer make it. Amazon no longer carrying this model either. Still available on EBay, though no good options. Either used, tan in color or double the price for new.

Been a while since I’ve updated.

Currently waiting on MetalCloak to release their 392 specific kits. Hopefully this month. Still undecided on 3.5” Game Changer vs Dual Rate kit plus rear upper control arm as this much torque deserves a proper rear pinion angle. Also working with Adams Drive Shafts on a possible specific front axle given the 392 does not have a front axle disconnect.

Meanwhile, my 15 year old cousin welded me this as I’m planning on drives across west Texas/NM/Utah. Kid is talented. Thing is very sturdy, trying to move it just moves the entire Jeep. It’s also out of the way of the rear-view camera and still allows to hitch something onto it.
