Well, now mine is getting the gauge cluster replaced after all. The reason ... RPM indication ended up just as random as the speedometer. RPM's indicated up to 600 RPM too high.

I am still waiting on a replacement gauge cluster to come in, but it should be replaced either this week or next.

Same problem here off by 5 and it comes and goes.

I took the exact same pics as you. My JLU sport at a stop shows 0 on the digital, 4mph on the analog. It holds that same 4mph difference with speed. Is this a gauge cluster problem? Will the dealer replace mine?

My JLUR has only 3 months and I started noticing it on the highway and then on some stoplights ranges from 3-10 mph, but today I noticed that it got stuck at 10 MPH on idle when I had a sudden stop and the Jeep's autostart turned it off before the marker hit 0.
Dunno if that's the cause, but posting to see if you guys can do a test and post back

Interesting...I've been wondering for a while if ESS could be a contributing factor. I personally think this is a software problem.

I see the same discrepancy between the digital read and the analog meter. However, the cruise control seems to be spot on with my gps. Tha’s all I car.
Same here. Digital and cruise control are spot on. gauge runs 5+ mph.

[GALLERY=][/GALLERY]Same issue with mine. I just noticed it today. I was planning on putting a lift on my Jeep this weekend and now I’m worried if this is a warranty issue they might tell me they’re not gonna cover it because of the lift!

@Badboylopez

You had better have the dealership service department document and repair this issue before you install the lift.

DON'T be like a handful of others here that had known issues and did the lift anyway...... These same guys have come back here to report they could not get the issue(s) addressed after the lift was installed.

The lift can and should wait another couple of weeks. Don't move to bigger tires either until this is remedied.

I did the remote start on the Jeep and now it’s fixed! Super weird. Must be a software issue

mine, is of course, intermittent. It can be right on up to 10 MPH off between the digital and the analog. Of course it is so hard to take it to the dealer as you don't know if it will be acting up or not.. And even if you drop it off when it is, doesn't mean it will be off when the tech looks at it. Very frustrating.
