As someone with a Canadian order - what's that delay looking like on average?

I don't have details about when an order was placed, so the only delay that i can track is between build sheet and window sticker being discovered by my code. The vast majority of those are within a week for both Canadian and US customers.

Note that I don't think that I've read about a Canadian customer getting their Jeep "quickly". This is all anecdotal, but from stories here it seems like VINs take months to be handed out and deliveries are 6+ months away.

Excellent. I've update it with your details.
Ooo that was a good one.

This is my favorite thread on the forum. I keep an eye out if anyone posts first or last day order dates in other threads 😆

Lol. Your response prodded me to update my code with the latest month boundaries. Here are the results as of this morning's 2am extraction:

I swear the March number keeps going down. 😄

I have a strong feeling May is gonna be a good month for Gobi builds. They gotta build SOME of them beside the few you found!

Hell, that's possible. I've moved the whole analysis part of it from SQL into Java. There was so much black magic going on in the SQL that I didn't fully understand. Now it's all very clear on how each number is derived. This was just too painful to maintain (old numbers here) and required a repetitive manual copy / paste into the forum's table format:

Innovation!

I believe I read that all but 1% or so are accounted for with the new parameters, is that right? So accuracy "should" be substantial?

In theory it's the same results, but I've seen some differences between the two. The significant difference is that I now maintain a map of 7 values where previously I had to try to keep 42 updated. It was challenging to know if I had all 42 values correct.

I also no longer have to try to manually merge build sheets and window stickers together (another opportunity for screw ups).

To develop a better understanding of what's being built each month we need to know what VINs were created each month. @dahacker did a statistical analysis and came up with these approximates for the early months, but it would be extremely helpful to have something relatively concrete, especially for more recent months of MY 2022 builds.

MonthStarting Sequence NumberEnding Sequence Number
October 2021100,001112,400 (10/30)
November 2021112,401 (derived from 10/30)124,933 (11/29) (need 11/30)
December 2021125,501 (approx) (need 12/01)154,401 (12/23 - need 12/31-ish)
January 2022158,085 (1/03 - need 1/01-ish)188,796 (1/31)
February 2022188,828 (2/01)212,112 (2/28)
March 2022213,805 (3/01)236,703 (3/31)
April 2022236,704 (derived from 3/31)999,999

I've received sequence numbers (the last 6 digits of your VIN) from a few people and have plugged those in where appropriate.

If the "Date Ordered" on your Priced Order Confirmation (POC) is on the start day or end day of a month and it's more accurate than what's in this table then please post here with your VIN's sequence number and that date.

If you're wondering why we'd want this data then see this topic.
Well I am the start of March...
