Big Chief Tire set the pressure to 38psi when they were installed but the ride is very harsh.
What would be a good psi fit on road?
What about off road?

You cannot go by the door placard for the correct pressure and the maker of the tire won’t give you any useful info as those tires are not meant for that vehicle so you have a few options.

1. Do a chalk test on the tires ( this is what I suggest )

2. lower the pressure to say 35 when cold then take it for a ride and after 15 mins of rolling at a decent speed down the road pull over and check the pressure with a reliable gage and if the pressure comes up approx 10% thats good ( its called the 10% rule)

A 20" wheel is not going to be the best option for on road and especially off road use.

You do not have a lot of rubber between the bottom of the 20" mag wheel and the road.

On road you might have to go to about 30 to 32 Psi. Tire pressures for off road on 20" wheels will be a challenge.
