Core Doors for JL and Sunshade for Sunrider?

Is Bestop planning on making Core doors for the JL like the ones on the JK?

Also, any news on the retractable sunshade for the Sunrider for JL?

YES! Core Doors for the JL are in the works, you are looking at early next year i would suspect.

As for the retractable Sunshade, I don't have an ETA on when that will hit the market.

I'm really looking forward to the core doors. It's just disappointing that the sunshade (which was announced about a year ago) didn't make it to production for this summer.

But at least you're getting products out. Unlike some companies, around here, that just announce vaporware (looking at you AEV).

Nothing yet. We are meeting next week to discuss Kickstarter approaches for retractable sunshades and Core Doors for the JL/JT. It's not something we've done before but it would help to determine if there really is enough demand to bring them to market early.

If the retractable sunshade is for the Sunrider for Hard Top, then you can count me as part of the demand.

Count me out , Not helping an already very rich company get richer. JL in third year of production plus the JT and this would be too early release? No demand? I’m so confused by all this.

I'd provided an update in another thread but I know how hard it is to keep up with finding every thread of interest here

The update on Kickstarter is that we had internal interest and were making plans to launch a Kickstarter program for the Retractable Sunshade....then the pandemic hit. Given that there are a few parts of this assembly that would have to be sourced out of country we've had to put this on hold. Even if it got fully funded we don't have an idea of how long it would take to get production underway and when they would actually ship.

We'll revisit this down the road but, for now, we're on hold.
