Some of you might use these professionally or have informed opinions on the subject: cordless lithium ion tools. I’ve got almost everything I might need as far as quality personal tools at home. I don’t lend out my tools to anyone or use them at work. I don’t use these type of tools in my profession but there’s times they are needed for something at work by me or a coworker. They’re going to be a nice backup and occasional use set to keep in my truck so they don’t need to be the very best but not cheap junk either.

I’m loooking at brands that are readily available and that should be full featured and reliable. Not top of the line; I don’t need Festool, Dewalt, Milwaukee type stuff. I’m looking at Porter Cable, Ryobi, Craftsman type tools. I’m looking to pick up a set that has a drill, impact driver, battery, charger, and maybe a few other assorted tools. Who’s got info or advice for me?

These are not my regular tools. They are to keep in my work truck to use occasionally for small jobs or projects at work because I don’t use my own personal tools (Dewalt) for that. These are definitely tools that I will skimp on. But thanks!

Roger that. Its like in my RV I bought some to leave in there. I know they've closed a lot of them, but I got a clearance set at SEARS a few years back. It was the Angle Impact Driver, Drill and air compressor for a really cheap price. Sears usually has lots of clearance on Craftsman stuff.
