Just rolled 1000 miles on my new jlur. While driving today I was scolling through my menu screen. And noticed my engine temps were hovering around 220. Ambient temp was around 75. Is this normal operating temp?
Returned home and open hood to look things over.
I noticed a coolant leak at the reservoir nipple and also at the T fitting to the egr cooler. Coolant is more noticable at the T fitting. To the point of leaking down on the front diff. Checked clamps and they all seem secure.

Yeah it’ll go even higher temp depending on temp outside and if your going up hill. I saw coolant at 228 a few weeks ago. Pretty high but all my buddies JK’s 3.6’s run the same...so seems normal.

And about the coolant...shouldn’t be coming through the clamp like that.

Should not be leaking like that, my coolant temp runs around 195-205 and that’s on a 90 degree day here in Houston

DO not use a radiator stopleak, it is for old cars (and for those who want a cheap temp fix) not for a brand new vehicle. Additives to stop the leak are bandaids, not real solutions.
Fix the leaky clamp or have the dealer do it under warranty
CARGUY I know you are offering advice, but Please do not give advice on the forum unless you know the technical details, as some people take wrong/inaccurate advice and act on it.

Not trying to argue, just helping. Peace!
